STORYTELLERS!

March 3rd, Scott and his fellow singer-writers will be performing a night of songs and the stories behind the songs. Just a few weeks ago, Steve, Scott and i were chatting about dreams over a beautiful meal of ahi tuna and other deliciousness when Scott busted out with this idea. In no time at all, but with lots of hard work and recruitment, the dream will burst into reality in March. Here's a little teaser to wet your appetite! All are welcome!

Bike Soup

There is yet debate as to how the term "bike soup" came into existence, but that is what i will call the evening. On saturday, we decided to do a progressive dinner. the twist? We selected four houses downtown, each hosting a different course and we had to bike from place to place. The evening was a grand success and a memory i will always cherish!

BUI

Most of the night i kept wondering if there was such a thing as a BUI and if so, if Joel qualified for it!

I want to point out sara's riding shoes. warm and comfy must have been left off her to do list. but to each her own. I'd also like to point out kari's really cool kick stand. i miss those!

the route

Dixie and i rode from her house to Joels where the evening began with wine and cheese. Then we trekked to Jason and Kari's for delicious salad, minestrone soup, and more toasting to friendship. Back to Corona for lasagna (home made by sara's mom (MJ) and dad (Doc. Ron) who kept us in stitches all night). The final stage was the uphill spring to Dixie's where we finished the evening with scrumptous desserts.

frenchrolls and rubberbands

I haven't seen so many fashion faux pas amongst these cool kids in ages. Joel lead us down a dangerous path by frenchrolling his pants. I'm not sure it will make a comeback, but at least we could ride safely in the dark. Missie showed us how to effectively protect the skull although she looked a lot more like a japanese cartoon from my past.

The evening was topped off with some spectacular stunts and tricks by our very own jason haymen. I want to point out that he could not have done this tricks with out first french rolling his jeans. beautiful, jason, beautiful!
