Saturday morning, Kathy and I stumbled across the Taos farmer's market. This was the perfect weekend as the summer and autumn produce collided in a festival of colour!
As many of you know, my favorite colour is "glow". I have so rarely seen nature share my favorite colours with me so often in one day. I know, i know, i have no idea what the names of these flowers are but i adore them nonetheless!
We visited one of the oldest catholic churches in the west founded by San Fransisco. The square was pretty touristy but we ate an amazing New Mexican meal and enjoyed the cool shade of the old adobe buildings.
Nestled into the San Isabel Forest in southern Colorado, stands Bishop's Castle. This is a one-man construction project that has lasted for several decades. Eccentric isn't the word, but you get the idea! http://www.bishopcastle.org/
For my family and friends: Though they keep us apart, our journies are what unite us most. Here we can vicariously experience each others adventures. Love you guys!
