Hot Set

This week i visited Heather on a "hot set"... literally! Her company was filming silhouettes against a greenscreen for a commercial project and graciously let me hang out and snap photos. It was a lot of fun and i was eager to play around with all the fancy gear... but... also happy for the documentary style story-telling that i get to do everyday! Kitten, thanks for letting me shadow (or silhouette)!

Duckies

This past weekend, a fleet of 11 took our duckies to the rapids of Salida, Co. If only Joel didn't think his camera could survive a swim in a ziplock bag, we'd have some fun river shots! (I know, what professional photographer uses a disposable camera anyway??).

This has got to be one of my favorite photos! Chasing dragonflies through the reeds down by the river that flowed passed karuizawa was one of my favorite childhood activities. I'm not sure how Drew actually caught this one (are chinese dragonflies more calm than japanese?), but kudos however it happened! Great photo Mike. Thanks for the nastalgia!
