It was between getting plump golden raisons at King Soopers or watching that magical moment when the holiday lights of denver suddenly illuminate the sky. We choose raisons. I'll admit a moment of saddness as you can buy raisons at any moment but the holiday lights only switch on once a year and i had driven all the way from the Springs for that moment. But alas, golden raisons had their own mystery.

Later that night, i caught sight of the City Building in it's holiday grandeur. I planned to blink hard to recapture the illuminous moment, but when my eyes beheld the building, i gawked! How horrid! This is the most hideous display of holiday cheer i have ever seen- Behold! Denver!

Willows

I drove up to Denver a little early with hopes of finding a new korean sauna I had heard about at my local Korean Market. The directions made no sense. The street names and cross streets were on opposite quadrants of the map. I drove and drove and discovered nothing. But then i found myself on a magical road at dusk which led me to the happiest of trees... a willow lazing upon a bank.
