tree from the forest

This may be one of the last days Heather and I will spend together before Christmas, so we decided to get our Christmas tree. It was an overwhelming task finding that perfect tree. Sometimes it's hard telling the tree from the forest, but thank God we were only in the garden section of Home Depot!

Perhaps the runt of the lot, but we love our new tree!

We were glad our tree just fit into Heather's new chubby Matrix.

No Christmas tree in our house is finished without ornaments, garlands and boas. What? Boas live in trees!

While home, my Dave let me spin the old red cadillac. Groovie little amish-pimp-mobile eh?

No one can make that face quite like Heather, but everyone is trying! Perhaps a new trend in foto-fads?

Wasn't Signs filmed in PA? I don't know, but here are some other interesting signs Heather and I came across (and stepped in) while trapsing around PA.

BarnArt

I visited my brother in his Lititz woodshop where he makes amazing furniture out of recylced lancaster country barn wood scavenged from torn down barns. Posing for these photos, he took a much needed break from his hard work preparing for this weekends show at Franklin and Marshall College. Check out Dan's gallery at www.lancastercountybarnart.com

Arment kids

I had the wonderful pleasure of joining the Arment family for Thanksgiving this year. Heather was concerned I wouldn't feel at home as her family does not traditionally serve sushi as a thanksgiving entree like my family does. It was like a little trip to America for me! Check out how cute Wyatt is!
