Paint Mines

This weekend, Sara, Leora, Andy, Joel and I went to explore the Paint Mines iin Calahan, CO. These formations are millions of years old and were used by the Native Americans who harvested the rock for their vibrant colors which were used to paint their pottery. Andy demonstrated that they also used the paint on their faces to attract the ladies.
